Learn American Sign Language with a Teacher Who Gets It
Asia Whitaker is an ASL instructor and deaf advocate based in Orem, Utah. Hard of hearing since birth, she brings lived experience to every lesson — not just technical knowledge. With 8+ years of ASL fluency and 4+ years of teaching, she works with students of all ages, from 5-year-olds just getting started to adults in their 70s deepening their fluency.
Every lesson is built around you. Asia takes the time to understand your goals and how you learn best, then designs a plan that actually fits.

Deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals ready to build confidence and embrace their identity through language — and hearing family members who want to truly connect with someone they love. Whether the lessons are for you, your kids, or the whole family, ASL is beautiful, accessible, and worth learning.
How sessions work:
Online via Zoom — $25/hour
In-person in Orem — $30/hour
